NESCAFÉ creator campaign

NESCAFÉ is putting creators closer to the centre of its marketing in Australia. Herd MSL has developed the NESCAFÉ creator campaign as a creator-led activity around the coffee brand, extending NESCAFÉ’s broader push toward everyday conversations, social content and moments people already recognise from their own lives.

It is a fairly natural fit for coffee. Coffee rarely needs an elaborate story. A quick catch-up, a morning ritual or a conversation between friends can do much of the work. For NESCAFÉ, creators offer a way to bring those moments onto social platforms without making every piece of content feel like a traditional advertisement.

Creators Bring NESCAFÉ Into Everyday Conversations

Creator marketing works particularly well when a product already belongs to a familiar daily routine. NESCAFÉ does not need to explain what coffee is or manufacture an occasion for drinking it. Instead, creators can build content around conversations, humour, morning habits or ordinary social moments, with the product appearing naturally within the story. That can make branded content feel less forced and closer to what audiences already choose to watch on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Herd MSL Extends NESCAFÉ’s Social Strategy

Herd MSL has also been supporting NESCAFÉ’s wider Australian marketing activity. Earlier in 2026, NESCAFÉ introduced its “Make Your World” masterbrand platform in Australia with Saatchi & Saatchi Australia. The campaign brought products including NESCAFÉ Blend 43 and NESCAFÉ Concentrates under a broader brand idea focused on connection and everyday coffee rituals. Herd MSL supports the campaign alongside media agency OpenMind, helping social media and influencer activity sit alongside the wider advertising rollout rather than operating as a separate add-on.

Coffee Becomes the Setting Rather Than the Entire Story

One of the more interesting parts of NESCAFÉ’s direction is that the coffee itself does not always need to dominate the narrative. The wider “Make Your World” campaign reflects that idea by putting relationships and familiar moments ahead of a hard product sell. Coffee becomes part of the scene rather than the only reason for it. Creator marketing fits comfortably into that approach because creators already build content around personal stories, conversations, routines and observations that feel grounded in everyday life.

Creator Marketing Gives Big Brands a Different Kind of Reach

Large consumer brands once treated influencer campaigns mostly as another distribution channel. A campaign would be produced first, then creators would be asked to promote or amplify it. That model is changing. Creators are increasingly becoming part of the creative process itself, bringing their own tone, audience knowledge and understanding of individual platforms. For NESCAFÉ, that creates room for the same campaign idea to appear differently across Instagram, TikTok and other social channels without every piece of content needing to look or sound identical.

NESCAFÉ Is Selling Connection Alongside Coffee

NESCAFÉ’s current positioning in Australia leans heavily into connection rather than focusing only on individual coffee products. The brand has tied its wider campaign to the idea that coffee rituals often sit inside shared moments at home, at work or between friends and family. Creators can help make that positioning feel more immediate because conversation is already central to how they engage with their audiences. A creator can talk about a routine, relationship or small everyday experience while the coffee simply becomes part of that moment.

What the NESCAFÉ Campaign Says About Creator Marketing

The bigger story is not simply that another global brand is working with creators. That has become normal across the advertising industry. What stands out is how creators are moving closer to the centre of campaign planning. Social content is no longer always something added after the main advertising has already been produced. Brands are increasingly shaping campaigns with social platforms and creator participation in mind from the beginning. NESCAFÉ’s approach fits that wider shift, using creators to make the brand feel more conversational, flexible and connected to the way people already communicate online.

Why This Approach Matters for Brands

The campaign also shows why creator marketing is becoming harder to separate from broader brand strategy. Audiences are used to seeing polished advertising, but they also spend large amounts of time consuming content made by individual creators. Brands that understand how to move between those two environments can build campaigns that feel consistent without becoming repetitive. NESCAFÉ does not need every creator to repeat the same message word for word. The stronger opportunity is giving creators enough room to interpret the campaign in ways that still feel natural to their own audiences.
