Nectar Social, a startup focused on AI-powered social marketing, has raised $30 million in Series A funding led by Menlo Ventures and its Anthology Fund. The investment reflects increasing confidence in AI solutions designed for customer engagement and conversational commerce.
The Palo Alto company also introduced “Nectar Agent,” an autonomous AI marketing assistant built to help brands handle customer interactions across social media channels, direct messages, comments, and online communities in real time.
Menlo Ventures Backs the Funding Round
The round also drew support from True Ventures, GV (formerly Google Ventures), and Kinship Ventures, founded by Gwyneth Paltrow. Nectar Social said the funding will be used to grow its engineering team and hire additional AI talent. In addition, the company will expand integrations with major social platforms.
The company was founded by sisters Misbah Uraizee and Farah Uraizee, both former Meta executives who previously worked on large-scale creator and social systems. After emerging from stealth in 2025, Nectar Social has positioned itself as an AI operating platform for modern social marketing teams.
AI Tools Built for Social Commerce
Nectar Social combines social listening, creator management, customer support, and conversational commerce into one AI-powered platform. It currently integrates with Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, and X.
Its newly launched Nectar Agent is designed to automate brand interactions while preserving a company’s tone and approval process. The AI assistant can monitor and respond to conversations happening in comments, DMs, and community forums. It helps brands manage engagement at scale without relying entirely on human moderation teams.
CEO and co-founder Misbah Uraizee said brands today need “infinite presence” as AI-generated content and online conversations continue expanding rapidly.
Strong Momentum in AI Marketing
According to Nectar Social, its platform now supports more than 10 million conversations each week. The platform has grown fivefold over the past three months. The company says its AI infrastructure helps brands improve pre-sale engagement, post-sale support, and creator collaboration workflows.
Its customer list includes e.l.f. Beauty, Babylist, Figma, Graza, Liquid Death, and multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Analysts see AI-powered social commerce platforms as part of a larger movement toward automated marketing operations and real-time customer engagement.
Why It Matters for Fintech and Digital Business
The rise of platforms like Nectar Social shows how businesses are increasingly turning to AI automation to improve customer acquisition, retention, and revenue generation across digital channels.
As fintech companies and digital-first brands compete for consumer attention, AI-driven engagement tools are becoming increasingly important for scaling customer communication while controlling operational costs.
Nectar Social’s latest funding round also highlights the growing convergence of AI, social commerce, CRM systems, and digital revenue tracking. These are sectors expected to play a major role in the future of fintech and online business.
