The creator economy event calendar for late September 2026 is unusually busy. From Seattle and Brussels to Cologne, Texas and Los Angeles, creators, marketers, platform executives and entertainment leaders are heading into a run of conferences that touch nearly every corner of the industry.
Seven major events take place between September 22 and October 2, covering creator commerce, influencer marketing, video monetization, artificial intelligence, travel content and the increasingly blurred line between traditional entertainment and digital creators.
For creators and brands, the interesting part isn’t simply the number of conferences. It’s what they’re talking about. Commerce, AI, audience growth and creator-led media keep showing up across very different events.
Amazon Accelerate 2026 Brings Creators Closer to Seller Commerce
Amazon Accelerate returns to the Seattle Convention Center from September 22 to 24, bringing third-party sellers and brand owners together for more than 150 sessions across 11 breakout areas. The conference is primarily built around Amazon’s seller ecosystem, but creator marketing has earned a noticeable place in the program.
One session focuses on Amazon’s Creator Connections program and how sellers can approach product selection, creator commissions and return on advertising spend. OBIA Naturals founder Obia Ewah is also scheduled to discuss brand ambassadors and micro-influencers as part of a broader marketing strategy.
That creator presence makes sense. Marketplace selling is no longer neatly separated from influencer marketing. Creators increasingly sit somewhere between discovery, recommendation and conversion, particularly as platforms build shopping directly into content.
Amazon Accelerate runs September 22–24 in Seattle, Washington.
Influence Forward Looks at TikTok Shop, AI and Creator Trust
Brussels gets its own creator marketing gathering with Influence Forward, organized by Stellar Tech and the Influencer Marketing Alliance on September 22.
The afternoon program moves quickly across some of the industry’s current pressure points. TikTok Shop and full-funnel commerce are on the agenda, alongside creator-led news, trust, credibility and the growing role of AI in creator discovery, production and brand safety. Speakers include representatives from TikTok, UNESCO, Google and Belgian broadcaster VRT NWS.
There is also a regulatory angle. A panel will examine Belgium’s influencer certification program, while another case study explores how creator content can move beyond social feeds and into wider brand communications.
For an industry still figuring out where human influence ends and automated marketing begins, those conversations feel particularly timely.
DMEXCO 2026 Pushes AI Deeper Into Digital Marketing
DMEXCO 2026 takes over Koelnmesse in Cologne on September 23 and 24 under the theme “Scaling Intelligence.”
The conference isn’t exclusively a creator economy event. Its reach is much wider, spanning agencies, commerce, media and marketing technology. Still, what happens at DMEXCO tends to spill into creator marketing quickly. This year’s program includes discussions and masterclasses around agentic advertising, AI-powered commerce and generative engine optimization.
Those subjects increasingly matter to creators as brands rethink how content gets discovered, measured and converted into sales. Search is changing. Advertising automation is accelerating. Commerce is moving closer to content.
Creators are operating inside all three shifts.
AR/VR Policy Conference Turns Toward the Rules Behind Immersive Media
Washington, D.C. hosts the sixth annual AR/VR Policy Conference on September 24, bringing policymakers, researchers and technology companies together to discuss the future of augmented and virtual reality.
The agenda stretches across privacy, safety, AI, education, healthcare, workforce development, accessibility, trade and global competitiveness. Hands-on demonstrations from XR companies are also planned.
This may look like the outlier on the creator calendar, but immersive technology has obvious implications for digital creators. AR filters already sit comfortably inside mainstream social platforms, while virtual environments continue to open new possibilities for storytelling, branded experiences and audience interaction.
The policy questions will follow the technology.
TBEX Summit America Gives Travel Creators Four Days in Fargo
Travel creators have a dedicated stop with TBEX Summit America 2026, running from September 29 through October 2 across Fargo and West Fargo, North Dakota, and nearby Moorhead, Minnesota.
More than 30 sessions, workshops and industry forums are planned around content creation, SEO, social media, influencer marketing and travel-focused content strategy. Speed networking and meetings with destinations and travel brands add a commercial layer to the event.
TBEX is particularly relevant because travel influencing has matured beyond posting attractive destination photos. Creators increasingly work as production partners, destination storytellers and distribution channels for tourism organizations.
That makes the relationship between creators and travel brands much more business-driven than it once was.
VidSummit 2026 Goes Straight at Creator Growth and Monetization
For video creators, VidSummit 2026 is one of the biggest dates on this calendar.
The 13th annual conference runs from September 29 to October 1 at the Irving Convention Center at Las Colinas in Texas. Unlike fan-focused creator conventions, VidSummit is designed around the business and strategy behind building a video audience.
Sessions center on monetization, audience growth and content strategy, with creators mixing alongside editors, managers, brands and production teams.
Twitch CEO Dan Clancy is among the confirmed speakers. VidSummit founder Derral Eves, Uscreen CEO Allison Yazdian and Tubi creator partnerships executive Kudzi Chikumbu are also on the lineup, alongside creators including Caleb Hammer, Jenny Hoyos and SSSniperWolf.
The mix says plenty about where video creation is heading. Building an audience remains important, but creators are paying much closer attention to ownership, monetization, distribution and turning channels into durable businesses.
Bloomberg Screentime Puts Digital Creators Beside Hollywood Power Players
Then comes Bloomberg Screentime 2026, running September 30 through October 1 in Los Angeles.
Bloomberg Live’s summit brings entertainment executives, entrepreneurs and digital creators into the same room to discuss media, pop culture and the business behind both. Topics include industry consolidation, changing consumption habits, digital fandom and AI’s impact on creative industries.
The speaker lineup makes the convergence particularly visible. Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos, Disney President and Chief Creative Officer Dana Walden and Conan O’Brien are scheduled alongside figures such as Steven Bartlett and creator and CrunchLabs founder Mark Rober.
That’s no longer an unusual combination.
Creators are moving into territory once dominated by studios and established media companies, while Hollywood increasingly studies the audience-building methods creators developed online. Bloomberg Screentime puts both sides of that shift on the same stage.
Creator Economy Events Are Becoming More Specialized
Taken together, this stretch of events shows how difficult it has become to describe the creator economy as one industry.
Amazon Accelerate approaches creators through commerce. Influence Forward comes from influencer marketing. DMEXCO looks at advertising and technology. TBEX focuses on travel. VidSummit drills into video growth. Bloomberg Screentime connects digital talent with Hollywood and the wider entertainment business.
AI cuts through several of them.
So does commerce.
And increasingly, so does the question of how creators turn attention into something more durable than views.
The creator economy isn’t simply getting larger. Its infrastructure is becoming more specialized, with separate ecosystems emerging around creator commerce, media production, advertising technology, entertainment and professional services.
Late September’s conference calendar makes that shift hard to miss.
