Upfluence Launches Agentic Creator Marketing Platform to Help Teams Operate at 10x Their Size

Upfluence agentic creator marketing platform

Creator marketing has spent years adding more software to workflows that still rely heavily on people. The Upfluence agentic creator marketing platform is now aiming to use AI to take over much more of that process.

The company has launched what it describes as a fully agentic creator marketing platform designed to manage creator campaigns from initial strategy through execution and reporting. Upfluence says the technology could allow relatively small marketing teams to operate at as much as 10 times their current scale.

At the center of the platform is Jaice, Upfluence’s creator-focused AI system. Instead of simply recommending influencers or drafting outreach copy, Jaice can take actions across an entire campaign, including discovering creators, contacting them, negotiating fees, handling approvals, processing payments and tracking performance.

That moves the platform beyond the familiar AI copilot model. Upfluence is trying to turn AI from an assistant into an active campaign operator.

From a Campaign Brief to Launch in Minutes

Launching a creator campaign can involve far more manual work than the public-facing content suggests. Teams often need to interpret a campaign brief, search for suitable creators, assess their profiles, contact them individually, negotiate rates, handle contracts, track approvals and keep dozens of conversations moving at the same time.

Upfluence says its new agentic system can compress much of that process. According to the company, brands can move from an initial campaign brief to launching a creator program in as little as five minutes. Upfluence contrasts this with conventional workflows that can stretch across several weeks and require significant manual review.

The exact amount of time saved will naturally depend on the campaign, but the larger point is more important. AI is beginning to manage sequences of creator marketing tasks rather than simply speeding up one isolated part of the workflow.

Jaice Moves Beyond the Traditional AI Copilot

Jaice is not entirely new to Upfluence. The company previously positioned the technology as an AI campaign copilot capable of helping marketers build campaign briefs, identify creators, choose compensation models and make campaign decisions.

The newer version goes much further. Jaice can interpret information about a brand, develop campaign direction, discover relevant creators and continue moving the campaign forward without requiring marketers to manually trigger every individual task.

Upfluence says Jaice can also handle outreach, negotiations, approvals, payments and reporting. That shifts the experience from “help me do this” toward “carry this out within the parameters I set.”

For creator marketing teams, that difference could be significant because many of the most time-consuming parts of campaigns are repetitive rather than creative.

Upfluence Is Leaning on Years of Creator Data

Agentic AI still depends heavily on the quality of the information behind it. Automating creator discovery only helps if the system understands which creators are genuinely relevant to a brand, campaign or audience.

Upfluence says Jaice draws on more than 12 years of proprietary creator intelligence and campaign data. The company says its platform contains information connected to more than 14 million creators and thousands of brands, giving the AI a large pool of historical signals to work from when making recommendations.

That data can include creator performance, audience characteristics, campaign outcomes, previous partnerships and commerce activity. Upfluence argues that those signals give Jaice enough context to identify potential creators even when marketers have not built a detailed shortlist themselves.

This becomes especially useful when brands work with large numbers of micro-creators. Finding 10 creators manually is manageable. Finding, evaluating and managing several hundred becomes an operational problem very quickly.

AI Takes a Bigger Role in Creator Discovery and Outreach

Creator discovery is one of the clearest areas where AI can reduce repetitive work. Marketing teams often spend hours filtering creator databases, comparing engagement, checking audience demographics and trying to determine whether someone actually fits a campaign.

Upfluence says Jaice can automate much of that process while also personalizing creator outreach. Instead of sending identical messages at scale, the system can use information about a creator’s content, interests and audience to shape the outreach.

The company says AI-generated outreach has produced stronger response rates in its internal testing. It also says brands using AI-assisted creator selection were more likely to work with the recommended creators than those found through traditional manual searches.

Those numbers come from Upfluence itself, so they should be viewed as company-reported results rather than independent benchmarks. Still, they highlight the bigger challenge facing AI-powered outreach: automation only creates value if it feels relevant rather than mass-produced.

The Platform Can Handle Much More Than Creator Recommendations

The Upfluence agentic creator marketing platform extends across much of the campaign lifecycle. The company already offers creator discovery, campaign management, affiliate tracking, payments, relationship management and performance measurement inside its wider platform.

Jaice adds an autonomous layer over those functions. Instead of marketers manually moving between creator discovery, email outreach, negotiations, approvals and payment systems, the AI can help execute those tasks as part of a connected workflow.

For agencies, that could change how many campaigns a single team can manage. A relatively small group could potentially oversee more creators without increasing headcount at the same rate.

Brands may see the benefit differently. Instead of spending large amounts of time chasing responses or updating campaign statuses, internal teams could spend more time shaping creative direction, building creator relationships and making higher-level marketing decisions.

Brand Safety Matters More When AI Can Take Action

Giving AI permission to execute parts of a creator campaign introduces a different set of risks. A recommendation can be ignored. An automated action can create consequences before a marketer reviews it.

Upfluence says brands can configure safety rules and campaign controls inside the platform. Its tools can help assess creator content across major social platforms while allowing marketers to establish their own standards and risk thresholds.

That matters because creator partnerships can expose brands to reputational issues very quickly. A poorly matched creator, an inappropriate message or an overlooked controversy can turn a routine campaign into a communications problem.

As agentic platforms become more capable, governance will likely become just as important as automation. Brands will want systems that can move quickly, but they will also need clear controls over what those systems are allowed to do.

Upfluence Is Bringing Creator Intelligence Into Other AI Tools

Upfluence is also expanding beyond its own platform by supporting the Model Context Protocol, or MCP. This allows compatible AI systems to connect with Upfluence’s creator intelligence rather than requiring marketers to work entirely inside one dashboard.

The company says its MCP infrastructure can work with AI environments such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor and Gemini. Through that connection, AI tools can potentially search creator profiles, compare creators and retrieve information relevant to campaign planning.

That information can include audience demographics, engagement data, authenticity signals, estimated sponsorship pricing and previous brand partnerships.

The more interesting part is how this changes the interface for creator marketing. Marketers may eventually start a campaign from the AI assistant they already use rather than opening a separate creator platform, running a search and manually transferring the results elsewhere.

Creator Marketing Is Starting to Look Like an Agentic Workflow

Creator marketing has become increasingly difficult to manage through spreadsheets and email alone, especially as brands expand from a handful of large influencers toward much broader networks of niche and micro-creators.

Agentic AI fits naturally into that environment because the workflow contains many repeated steps. Teams need to discover creators, vet them, send outreach, follow up, negotiate, secure approvals, handle payments and measure results.

Those activities still require judgment, but they do not all require a person to perform every click.

Upfluence is betting that AI can handle enough of those operational decisions to reshape how creator teams work. Humans may spend less time on campaign administration and more time on strategy, creativity and relationship building.

The real test will come when brands start allowing these agents to manage hundreds or even thousands of creator interactions simultaneously.

What This Means for the Creator Economy

The launch reflects a wider change happening across creator technology. The first wave of AI tools focused heavily on captions, campaign briefs, content ideas and influencer recommendations.

The next phase is more ambitious. Platforms are now building AI systems that can perform actions, coordinate workflows and make decisions across multiple stages of a campaign.

That means creator marketing platforms may increasingly compete on more than the size of their databases. The quality of their AI agents, their ability to understand context and the controls they give brands could become equally important.

Creators may also notice the shift. More brand approaches could begin with automated systems rather than individual campaign managers. When done well, that could result in more relevant opportunities and faster communication. When done poorly, it could create another wave of generic outreach.

For marketing teams, the promise is simple: run more campaigns without building a much larger operation.

Upfluence is betting that agentic AI can make that possible.
