Crypto marketing agency ICODA has opened its Creator Program to outside applicants, creating another route for crypto and Web3 creators to find paid brand campaigns without constantly pitching projects themselves.
The program connects vetted creators with companies looking for promotional support across crypto, decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs and Web3 gaming. Campaigns can run across platforms such as X, YouTube, Telegram, Kick and Instagram.
The idea is straightforward. Creators apply to ICODA’s network, provide details about their audience and content, and can then receive campaign opportunities that match their profile. Rather than creators chasing individual sponsors, ICODA acts as the connection between the two sides.
ICODA Opens Its Influencer Network to More Creators
ICODA isn’t starting with an empty database. The agency says it has worked in crypto marketing since 2017, supported more than 650 projects and developed a network containing more than 2,000 vetted creators. Opening the Creator Program expands that infrastructure beyond the influencers already working with the agency.
Creators who apply provide information about their channels, audience demographics, geographic reach and preferred content formats. ICODA can use those details when deciding whether a creator fits a particular campaign. The company doesn’t publish a universal minimum follower requirement, which means audience relevance and niche can carry more weight than raw follower numbers.
That approach fits the crypto creator market particularly well. A smaller creator followed closely by active DeFi traders, for example, could offer a project something very different from a general technology influencer with a much larger but broader audience.
Creators Can Review Campaign Terms Before Saying Yes
Creators aren’t automatically committed when ICODA sends them an opportunity. Campaign briefs are expected to outline the required deliverables, compensation, publishing deadlines, approval requirements and relevant usage or exclusivity terms before the creator accepts the work.
ICODA says creators can also reject opportunities without losing access to future campaigns. That gives participants room to avoid projects that don’t fit their audience, content style or commercial expectations instead of accepting every sponsorship that enters the network.
Compensation can vary between campaigns. ICODA outlines fixed-fee arrangements, hybrid deals combining guaranteed payments with performance incentives, affiliate or performance-based campaigns and longer-term partnerships. The structure gives brands room to build different kinds of creator campaigns rather than forcing every collaboration into the same sponsored-post format.
ICODA Handles Negotiations and Campaign Coordination
A large part of the program sits behind the content itself. Once a creator accepts a campaign, ICODA can handle communication with the advertiser around scope, approvals, revisions and other campaign requirements while the creator concentrates on producing the agreed material.
Payment takes place after the required content and reporting obligations have been completed. For performance-based campaigns, ICODA says the measurement criteria and attribution method are defined as part of the campaign terms. Usage rights covering areas such as paid advertising, licensing, whitelisting and exclusivity can also vary from one agreement to another.
The setup puts ICODA somewhere between an influencer agency, creator marketplace and campaign manager. It is not simply listing sponsorship opportunities. The agency is positioning itself as the intermediary responsible for matching creators with projects and managing the commercial workflow around those partnerships.
Joining the Program Does Not Lock Creators Into ICODA
Creators who join the program can continue working with brands outside the ICODA network. The company describes participation as non-exclusive, meaning existing sponsorships, direct relationships and independent commercial work can continue alongside opportunities received through the program.
That matters for established creators who already have their own inbound business. Joining an agency-led network can become less attractive when it requires handing over every commercial relationship. ICODA’s model instead allows creators to use the program as another source of deals while keeping their existing partnerships intact.
The agency can also become involved in negotiation, coordination and potential renewals where required. That could be particularly useful for creators who have built an audience but don’t have a dedicated manager handling the business side of their work.
Crypto Creators Operate in a Different Kind of Influencer Market
Crypto creator marketing doesn’t behave exactly like mainstream lifestyle influencer marketing. Audiences can be technical, financially engaged and highly skeptical of promotional claims. Communities often form around narrow subjects such as token trading, decentralized exchanges, blockchain infrastructure, NFTs or individual Web3 ecosystems.
That makes audience fit especially important. A creator with a modest following of active traders could potentially offer more relevance to a trading platform than a much larger entertainment creator whose audience has little interest in cryptocurrency.
ICODA’s Creator Program reflects that fragmentation. The agency is looking at creators producing technical analysis and trading content, DeFi reviews, NFT coverage and Web3 gaming material rather than treating “crypto influencer” as one broad category.
The Program Targets X, YouTube, Telegram, Instagram and Kick
ICODA is also spreading the program across several platforms instead of building it around a single social network. Its creator materials reference X, YouTube, Telegram, Instagram and Kick, giving campaigns access to formats ranging from short social posts and community discussions to long-form videos and livestreams.
Platform choice can significantly change how a crypto campaign works. Telegram remains heavily tied to community communication, while X plays a central role in real-time crypto discussion. YouTube offers room for longer explainers and reviews, while livestreaming can support more conversational coverage.
For creators working across several platforms, that opens the possibility of campaign packages rather than one-off posts. A project could potentially combine a video, social coverage and community engagement depending on the brief and the creator’s audience.
Applications Are Free, but Campaign Work Is Not Guaranteed
Creators do not have to pay to apply for the ICODA Creator Program. The agency reviews applications and matches accepted creators against available client campaigns, but joining the network does not automatically guarantee sponsorships or a particular level of income.
ICODA says qualified applicants may receive personal outreach within 24 hours. Actual opportunities will still depend on what brands are running campaigns, which audiences they want to reach and whether an applicant matches those requirements.
For creators already producing crypto, DeFi, NFT or Web3 content, the proposition is less about joining another social platform and more about opening another commercial channel. Instead of repeatedly searching for sponsors, creators can potentially have suitable briefs brought to them.
The launch also points to a broader shift inside creator marketing. Agencies increasingly aren’t limiting themselves to arranging isolated influencer posts. They are building permanent creator networks designed to match brands and creators repeatedly. In crypto, where communities can be highly specialized, that matchmaking layer may become particularly important.
